Janine, was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Music has always been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. Janine began singing for an audience at the age of fifteen, when she joined Whitehaven High School’s Concert Choir. Her biggest musical influences range from India Arie, Esparanza Spalding, Corinne Bailey Rae, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, and Pink to name a few. One of Janine’s close influences is her God-father, Reginald Harris. Using her musical talent she wants to encourage people all over the world to be themselves no matter. She also motivates listeners to love themselves, everyone around them and to never forget where they came from.
