Clayton Baxter, better known by his stage name G MEDZ, is a promising Jamaican recording artist from the parish of Clarendon. From a very early age, Baxter knew that he wanted to pursue a career in music but this dream wasn’t realized until much later in his life. He started off singing in the youth choir at church and participated in various community events, where he was further encouraged by his peers and other community members to become a recording artist. In 2011, G MEDZ began to take music seriously, forming a record collective called Fruitful Records, with longtime friends, Alkamis, Jay Dan and Nass.

Infusing his music, with the influences of his musical heroes such as Dennis Brown, Bob Marley, Buju Banton and Beenie Man to name a few, G Medz consistently creates music that connects fans to his roots.
